The Cracow University of Technology has in its sports facilities a Tennis Center, which is located on the university's campus in Czyżyny. It is a modern hall with an area of 3026 m², which includes 4 full-size tennis courts, sanitary facilities with locker rooms and a viewing mezzanine. The courts are hard and covered with a Confosport acrylic surface, certified by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and recognized by the Polish Tennis Federation as official (e.g. during Davis Cup and Fed Cup competitions). This surface has a category medium (3) and allows fast or medium-fast play, taking advantage of the ball's natural bobble - suitable for both advanced and learning tennis players. Hard courts are characterized by flexibility and high abrasion resistance. The same courts are used at major tennis tournaments such as the Australian Open, US Open and Masters series tournaments..
